Partner Spotlight

Sharon Taverno Ross, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Health and Physical Activity, School of Education, University of Pittsburgh.

Her research focuses on childhood obesity prevention and physical activity promotion in children and youth, primarily those of Latino origin. She is a member of the Recess Advocacy team because she recognizes the importance of play and physical activity for children’s mental, physical, and social well-being and wants to support any movements or efforts in this area.
