The Pittsburgh Walk for Apraxia is the largest gathering of local apraxia communities, where families come together to support each other and their “Apraxia Stars”, which are children diagnosed with childhood apraxia of speech (CAS).
The Walk is a celebration of the daily work to find their voice that is often demonstrated by children with CAS.
For many families, the Walk is the first time they meet others in their own region who have had similar experiences maneuvering the challenges of apraxia.
