Join the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and the Humane Animal Rescue for a special edition of Family Day in Allegheny Commons celebrating the restoration of the Hartzell Monument.

The Hartzell Monument is one of the City's few memorials to honor a woman. It was places in the park in 1909 in memory of Annie Hartzell, a founder of the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society.

The Parks and Pups Party will include a balloon artist, face painting, a special treat for attendees, activities from the Humane Animal Rescue, and more!
