This pop-up will focus on the elements of P.R.I.D.E. (positive racial identity development in early education). We will bring alive the photo book, "Shades of Black: Celebration of Our Children" with elements from nature, our favorite food items, and other things that remind our children how beautiful they are in skin tone, eye color and hair texture. The pop-up will feature fun call and response chants, songs and dances, and we'll make colorful Africana art to adorn ourselves!
